Therapeutic Movement – Yoga Classes in Seattle
Movement is part of how we care for the whole person at PinPoint. Our yoga classes offer a quiet counterpoint to Seattle’s busy pace — small, supportive, and taught with the same attention you’d expect from our treatment rooms. Come on your own, or let your practitioner point you toward the class that fits where your body is right now.
You might be navigating stress or burnout, moving through a life transition, working toward better sleep, or balancing an active lifestyle with real rest. There’s a place for you here — no experience or flexibility required.
Our Classes
Restorative Yoga – on the schedule now
A quiet, meditative practice built on precise alignment and the generous use of props, so your body is fully supported in each pose. Poses are held for 3–10 minutes, giving your nervous system time to genuinely settle and your tissues time to release. We believe in the intelligence of proper alignment and power of supported stillness. Our approach emphasizes:
- Careful attention to body positioning for maximum benefit
- Therapeutic use of props for accessibility and support
- Systematic sequencing to address specific needs
- Mindful holds that allow deep tissue release
- Precision and safety in every pose
Good for: deep stress relief, nervous-system regulation, better sleep, gentle support for chronic pain and postural patterns, and recovery for active bodies.
On Sundays 4:30pm and Wednesdays at 4:30pm & 6pm with Tania.

Hatha Yoga – on the schedule now

A classic, well-rounded practice pairing posture and breath at a steady, unhurried pace — more active than our restorative classes, while keeping the same care for alignment and accessibility. A natural next step if you’re building strength, mobility, and a more regular practice.
On Thursdays at 4:30pm with Steve.
Yoga Nidra – expanding our schedule soon
Sometimes called “yogic sleep,” Yoga Nidra is a guided, fully supported rest practice — you lie comfortably while a teacher leads you into the deeply restful state between waking and sleep. No movement experience needed at all; if you can lie down, you can practice Yoga Nidra. A beautiful fit for insomnia, anxiety, and anyone whose nervous system needs true downtime.
Yoga Nidra is joining our schedule as we welcome new teachers. Want first notice when it opens? Email us at [email protected] or mention it at your next visit and we’ll save you a spot.

Movement as Part of Your Care
Our classes stand on their own — and they’re also an extension of how we practice medicine. Your acupuncturist may suggest a class as part of your treatment plan, or send you home with simple movement practices (like qigong) to carry your care between visits. If you’re not sure where to start, just ask at your next appointment — we’ll point you to the right room.
What to Expect During Class
Our 60-minute classes include:
- Detailed setup of each pose with precise prop placement
- Clear, anatomical instruction for optimal positioning
- Hands-on adjustments to refine alignment – only if you want it and with permission at the beginning of each class
- Focus on breath awareness and internal observation
- Adequate time in each pose for therapeutic benefit
Classes are kept small (maximum 10 students) to ensure personalized attention and a peaceful environment.

Common Questions
Do I need yoga experience?
Not at all. Our classes are perfect for beginners – there are no complex movements and no flexibility required. If you can breathe, you can do this.
How is restorative yoga different from other styles?
Restorative yoga is passive rather than active: props to support your body in comfortable positions held for extended periods. It’s about relaxation and release, not strength or flexibility. Hatha has joined the schedule, and it’s our more active option.
How often should I practice yoga?
Even once a week provides benefits. For stress management or chronic patterns, 1-2 times per week is ideal – our class packages make a regular rhythm easier.
Serving Seattle neighborhoods including Queen Anne, Fremont, Wallingford, Ballard, Capitol Hill, and the greater Puget Sound area.
